Riders can look forward to an exclusive rider chill zone that will be packed with delicious free snacks and beverages.
The chill zone will only be open between 10:30 and 18:00 daily. We don’t want to give too much away, but you’re in for a treat
Riders will be supplied with a scrumptious lunch, dinner and breakfast every day.
Lunch will be served informally.
Dinner is more formal, accompanied by the day’s prize giving and race briefing.
05:00 - 06:00
12:00 - 15:00
18:00 - 19:00
Coffee, tea and fruit juice will be available at lunch, dinner and breakfast.
Alcoholic and soft drinks will be on sale from the bar in the rider area.
There will be water points on each stage. These points will supply energy drinks, cold water, snacks and food. Please check the route section for the exact distance between the water points.
Race organizers will supply a single source water for the water points and consumption during each stage. Tap water in our race village is perfectly safe for drinking, but it is recommended that riders utilize our supply of drinking water.
It is essential that riders start the race with a well serviced and prepared bicycle - take it to your local bike shop and explain what you are planning for the next 3 days - they will do the necessary. It is advisable that you carry brake pads, tubes, a master link and a replaceable dropout (remember it is unique to every bike) with you.
Recycles and Manic cycles will supply a complete bicycle repair service at the race village. They also supply a maintenance plan for the duration of the event, this includes a bike wash - it is highly recommended that you look at this option. Details of the bike tech package will be updated soon.
Squirt Bike wash will provide this service - please note this is a rinse down wash only.
Although there are no real safety concerns within the race village, riders must be alert and keep their equipment safe when their bikes are not in the secure storage facility.
